Arne Richards D.Hyp (MIAPH) combines his extensive experience as a musician and music therapist with a successful hypnotherapy practice in Oxfordshire. He trained with the Hypnotherapy Control Board and is a member of the International Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts which insists on exceptionally high standards of ethical practice and ongoing training and supervision Hypnotherapy is a gentle and natural form of therapy which can help with many conditions and symptoms. Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) is a wonderfully transformative way of solving many problems and can also help with fears, anxieties and phobias.
During a GIM session you will be invited to travel as you listen to a specific programme of music especially chosen to meet your needs.
In a deeply relaxed state, the traveller comes up with images in the form of symbols, associations, body sensations, feelings and memories. As you experience these images you pass them on to the therapist who gently encourages you to go further into them - to deepen the process and also the connections to the music.
Following this enjoyable but powerful process, the traveller and the therapist discuss the responses and images which arise from the session and their significance to the problem or situation.
